1978 Datsun 280Z 1995 Chevrolet LT-1 / T56
This car came from Pennsylvania with just over 52,000 original miles on it. There was no motor or interior in it, but it was nearly rust free.
A poor f-body gave it's life for this little project. Some idiot managed to spin this nice little convertible around and hit EVERY body panel. I stripped every usable part and dropped it off at a local salvage yard.
After a "few" months in the garage, this it what came out.
Right after the motor went in.

What did it look like the day I pulled it out of the garage? Literally, this was the first time the car ran with it's new power plant. There were a few body parts and glass missing, the wiring was scabbed in to get the computer to run, but I had to try it out.
What does it sound like today? After a little head/cam swap, the idle has gotten a little lumpier :-)
