ONLINE CATALOG TO PURCHASE STARTERS AND HEATERS

STARTER SELECTION CHART

Basic starter size selection is based upon the horsepower and voltage of the motor the starter is controlling.  This information can usually be found on the  name plate attached to the side of each motor.  a QUICK chart for starter sizes is provided here, to the right.

HEATER SELECTION
Please use the chart as a guide when ordering heaters.  If the actual (FLA) Full Load Amperage of the motor is known, order the heater by giving us the FLA rating.
The full load amperage of each motor may vary somewhat from these chart figures, however,  heater packs have a range that they will adjust to and there is some overlap in the range limits for each size heater.
FUSE SELECTION
Make sure that the proper type (delay or instant) of fuse is known when using the chart. TIME DELAY is preferred for motor starters.
CATALOG NUMBERS
DISCONNECT SWITCHES
The catalog numbers listed on these charts are for Heavy Duty safety switches (DH) catalog number.
